Manolo Tejera (Seville, 1987) is a painter, pianist, and engineer. His work emerges from the convergence of these three approaches to creation, which intertwine within a cross-disciplinary, multifaceted, and constantly evolving process of artistic research.
His practice is the visual result of this encounter, enriched by diverse geographic and cultural contexts that have contributed to shaping his artistic development. Particularly significant have been the periods he spent in Mexico, Brazil, Scotland, and Italy, whose landscapes and different ways of inhabiting time and space have nourished his artistic imagination.
Manolo Tejera currently lives in Madrid, where he continues his artistic exploration through an ongoing dialogue between thought, perception, and matter.
