P.U.Ñ.E.T.A.Z.O

Variations on a single theme: a fist to the face as both solution and closure, at least at first glance.

This series attempts to convey a direct, unmediated impression, acting simultaneously as an endpoint and an opening. Through the act of striking – unorthodox, untrained, devoid of any technique – I seek an immediate stimulus aimed at a primal response, free from reflection or subsequent thought; whatever follows, follows.
Each work within the series adopts a distinct approach, functioning both as an autonomous entity and as part of the larger body of work presented.

All eight pieces were created simultaneously, evolving in parallel while also moving in their own directions, ultimately arriving at places unforeseen in their initial conception.
